UNILORIN Elects First Medical Student As Student Union President

Animashaun Oluseyi Emmanuel became the first Medical student to be elected as Student Union President of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State in the 43-year-old existence of the mightily prestigious institution.

Animashaun, a 500Level Medicine and Surgery student topped the list valiantly with over 5000 votes, giving him the unquestionable leverage to be elected as President.

The college of health sciences is agog with joyous celebration and an indescribable feeling of pride courtesy to the fact that the medical student folk have often been sidelined and marginalised in the central affairs of things.

Animashaun, who is inarguably an enviably intelligent, young, vibrant, well cultured, tactical, amiable, cerebral and a globally-oriented pragmatist was filled with much gratitude to God and man as he kept on bugging his way through the electric crowd that came to the University environ to congratulate him.
