VIDEO: Nigerians react as govt locked primary school with pupils inside in Ekiti

Ekiti State Government has reportedly locked a Private Nursery and Primary School in Ado Ekiti, the state capital over alleged failure to pay INCOME TAX while the pupils were inside the school compound.

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Wednesday.

In the viral video already circulating in social media, the school named Adonai Nursery/Primary School, Basiri area, in Ado Ekiti was locked from morning till evening.

The school gate was closed due to alleged non-payment of income tax to the government.

The kid had a harrowing experience, locking the kids inside.

The government locked the school with the teachers and the student inside the compound till the late hours on Wednesday.

Parents, who came to pick up their children, could not take their children because the gate was locked.

@Bukola Raji, This is lie. The School gate indeed was locked but the Owner quickly went and paid the tax he. Defaulted to pay and it was opened. Why do Nigerians wait till action is taken against them before complying with their statutory duties? Did Fayose not also closed Schools over failure to pay KG students and other students tax talk more of INCOME tax of the owner ?
