VIDEO: Airplane runs into ditch during takeoff in Lagos Airport
An aircraft on Thursday has reportedly run into a ditch area during takeoff at the Murtala International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
The Ethiopian Airlines flight skidded off the runway and ran into a muddy area where it got stuck in the Lagos Airport.
Footage from the scene shows airport workers trying to get the plane out of the mud.
Though, no fatalities or injuries were recorded.

Newsflash Nigeria gathered that the authorities said they will investigate the cause of the incident.
This incident comes barely two weeks after seven military officers, including the former Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, along with four crew members were killed in military plane crash.
The training aircraft was said to have crashed on the runway of the Kaduna international airport.
