Sallah Celebration: We need jobs, not rice – Youths reject free bags of rice from politicians [VIDEO]

Just like a drama on Monday, July 19, some youths in Damongo town in Ghana have rejected free bags of rice who were gifted them for the Sallah celebration by the politician.

The youth are demanded jobs for the politician instead of giving them free bags of rice.

They asked the lawmaker to provide the youth with ways to make a living not to come and give them food.

According to the report, the politician named, Samuel Abu Jinapors, represents their constituency in the country’s parliament under the platform of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the viral video, the youth were seen throwing the bags of rice back into the boot of the Hilux truck that had initially been brought in, with some echoing we need jobs.

After the video went viral, Nigerians and other Africans began to hail the Ghanaian youths for their bravery to reject cheap things from the government despite the unfavourable conditions they have found themselves in.
