Fayemi supported PDP’s Olujimi to get me out of Senate because of Ekiti 2022 Guber – Adeyeye

Former Minister of Works, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has accused the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi of aiding the return of Senator Biodun Olujimi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) back to the Senate in the bid to stop him (Adeyeye) from contesting the 2022 governorship election in the State.

Adeyeye speaking for the first time since he was removed from the Senate via a tribunal judgment that was upheld by the Appeal Court.

“The unholy alliance between Fayemi and Olujimi will be made public soon and Ekiti people who are already aware of the fact of the unholy marriage will judge appropriately,” Adeyeye said.

Adeyeye, who spoke through his Special Assistant on Media,  Ayo Arotolu, was reacting to a statement by one of Senator Olujimi’s aides,  Sanya Atofarati, defending Governor Fayemi of the allegations of anti-party activities made against him by some stakeholders of the party in Ekiti State led by Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu.

He said; “No sooner had the case commenced before the tribunal that the Commissioner for Justice of Ekiti State, Mr Wale Fapounda boasted before all that cared that Adeyeye will be removed from Senate because according him he was nursing a gubernatorial ambition a post promised and reserved for him by Mr. Governor.”

The former spokesperson of the Senate also described the claim that Olujimi supported his gubernatorial ambition with N100 million cash, saying; “Olujimi could claim that she supported Adeyeye with N100m for his gubernatorial ambition under PDP. Let Olujimi proof this with facts and evidence either in cash, transfer or cheque. If Olujimi actually could boast of 50O delegates before the primary she wouldn’t step down for Adeyeye.”

RE: NIGERIAN POLITICIANS AND THEIR QUEST FOR POWER: A CASE STUDY OF PRINCE DAYO ADEYEYE

Ordinarily one ought not to waste his precious time replying uninformed and unintelligent festish priest from Ilawe who doubles as media spokesperson for Mrs Olujimi with a reply but for the general public who may see his vitupeperations as a statement fact of the  situation at hand hence the need to set the record straight.

Mr. Atofarati agreed in his statement that Adeyeye actually won the election. He also implied in his statement that the case was compromised by his (Adeyeye ‘s) lawyer who was also  Fayemi’s lawyer in all APC’s cases in the tribunal. Nigerians should note that the election was held the same day as the Presidential and House of Representative election. The candidates of the APC and PDP scored virtually the same results in the elections in Ekiti South Senatorial District. Nobody challenged the results of the two representatives and that of the President. Olujimi if truly a Democrat would not have challenged the election if she doesn’t have somebody who have assured her of victory through the back door because the election was won fair and square.

No sooner had the case commenced before the tribunal that the Commissioner for Justice of Ekiti State, Mr Wale Fapounda boasted before all that cared that Adeyeye will be removed from Senate because according him he was nursing a gubernatorial ambition a post promised and reserved for him by Mr. Governor.

One therefore wonders how Atofarati suddenly becomes solicitor for Fayemi if there is no unholy alliance between Fayemi and Olujimi which Fayose’s group has openly stated that Olujimi is Fayemi’s mole in PDP to  destroy the party and pave the way for Fayemi’s annointed candidate to emerge as Governor come 2020.

The premise of Olujimi case before the tribunal was illogical and unknown to law. A woman beaten with 24,000 votes to suddenly emerge as the elected Senator due to compromise and judicial abracadabra. No wonder, she cannot celebrate her victory because she knows that she didn’t win the election.  Ekiti South people didn’t vote for her.

Conscience is an open wound and only the truth can nurture it. Let’s wait and see what will happen to the castle of lies built by Fayemi before 2022 in Ekiti. The holy Bible says” touch not my annoited and do my prophets no evil” Another rain is about to fall. Its cloud already gathering where the boys will be separated from the men.

Mr Atofarati should consult very well with her principal before embarking on the journey to political perdition by his co travellers. He should ceased to be a crumbs eater and make a good living from his profession which is Ifa divination and socery rather than dabbling into unfamiliar terrain.

It is equally laughable that Olujimi could claim that she supported Adeyeye with N100m for his Gubernatorial ambition under PDP. Let Olujimi proof this with facts and evidence either in cash, transfer or cheque. If Olujimi actually could boast of 50O delegates before the primary she wouldn’t step down for Adeyeye. She ran to Government house on the eve of the Primary to pledge support for Fayose and Eleka.

Governor Fayose is still alive to confirm this. No wonder nemesis is catching up on her in an attempt to supplant her benefactor and leader in her quest to hold PDP by the jugular from the firm grip of Fayose.

The unholy alliance between Fayemi and Olujimi will be made public soon and Ekiti people who are already aware of the fact of the unholy marriage will judge appropriately.

Ayo Arotolu
