Falegan alleged that the people of Ekiti were hypnotized to voting for the ruling APC 2018 poll in the state, saying the people have since realised the huge mistake and were ready to correct it in 2022 by voting en-mass for the PDP.
He said “We know PDP for a lot of development in the past. Most of the infrastructural and other manifestations of growth as well as development in the state are done by PDP.
“There is no town in Ekiti you will not find the imprints of the PDP when it was in saddle. I believe in 2022 election our antecedents will definitely speak for us”, he said.

Falegan expressed optimistism that PDP would form the next government, saying that the APC-led government in the state, “was more of a curse than blessing to Ekiti people having failed to meet their expectations. The people were hypnotised to make wrong choice in the 2018”.
He noted that PDP has not only emerged as a credible alternative but also priority of the masses having tested both parties and weighed their achievements on a sectoral basis.
He said that PDP remains the strongest party with large number of grassroots followership in spite of the fact that it was not in control of the government.
Falegan who added that Ekiti people are self-motivated and determined in their quest to effect a change of government in 2022, said that the newly found unity within the state chapter is an indication that PDP would return to power.
“Definitely, PDP are going to form the next government in 2022 because the people of Ekiti are yearning for positive change. Conducts an opinion poll about this administration you will know that people are completely tired.
