BREAKING: Panic in Ekiti as students, teachers found a corpse in a classroom

There is panic in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital in the early hours of Monday as Pupils and teachers have reportedly found the corpse of a young man in one of the classrooms in the school.

It was gathered that the incident happened at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Primary School, located at Odo Ado, Ado Ekiti.

Pupils and teachers were thrown into confusion on Monday morning as they met the corpse of a young man lying in the pool of his own blood inside one of the classrooms in the school.

According to the report said that the pupils of primary 4 was seen the man died in their class where the pupils notified the school authority when they were about to sweep the classroom and were confronted with the gory sight.

It was not clear whether the corpse was dumped in the school premises as residents of the area said they did not hear any gun shot over night.

The school’s headmaster was not available for comment, but some teachers who spoke to our reporter said “the pupils notified us while they were about to sweep the classroom”.

However one of the teachers lamented that the block of classrooms where the corpse was laid had been a dumping ground for refuse, faeces and fetish objects indicating that the badly dilapidated classroom was not fit for human habitation.
