BREAKING: Ondo governorship aspirant, Fadahunsi, is dead

One of the governorship aspirants during the October 10, 2020 Ondo State governorship election, Comrade Dayo Fadahunsi, is dead after a brief illness.

Fadahunsi who was a former Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Ondo State, died on Tuesday morning, November 3 after a brief illness, according to a family source.

Before his death, Fadahunsi was a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ondo State, southwest Nigeria and the Special Adviser on Union matters to former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko.

He was also a former governorship aspirant in the Ondo 2020 governorship election and former Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Ondo State.
