APC reacts as Buhari’s aide, others lose in court

The Ekiti State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted on the judgement of the Federal High Court, Abuja, in a case filed, by the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu and other members.
The party hailed the judgement and called the development a victory that would deepen democracy in the State and the country.
Ojudu and other members alleged to be the loyalists of the National Leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, are against the party for selecting the ward executives, Local and State executives.
The former Senator and some aggrieved chieftains had challenged constitution of Ekiti APC executive committee.
But the court dismissed the case on Thursday.
APC called the development a victory that would deepen democracy in the State and the country.
In a statement released on Thursday by the party’s Public Relations Officer, Hon. Ade Ajayi on behalf of the Chairman of the party, Barrister Paul Omotosho, in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, APC notes that the judgement is a victory to all as it will deepen democracy in the state and country.
Ajayi, said the party will not depart from its resolve to be a formidable force.
” Ekiti APC is not gloating the outcome of the case and that we shall be magnanimous in victory.
“However, we are committed to moving the party to its Eldorado”. The statement emphasized.
“For the umpteenth time, lets state that we shall not depart from our resolve to turn APC into a formidable force and party to reckon with in Ekiti state.
“While the decision of the Federal High Court vindicates our stand that our Exco has always been overboard in all our dealings in the past, we shall remain committed in our determination to continue to rule Ekiti state.
“We remain a family and indivisible one, a sign for the opposition to continue to remain dormant and lick its wounds forever in Ekiti politics”, he noted.
