Why I visited Buhari in Aso Rock – Tinubu

The National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, revealed the reason he visited President Muhammadu Buhari in presidential Villa.

Tinubu, who met with Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Sunday,  described the President as an “exceptional leader”.

Speaking with State House correspondents, Tinubu said he came to the Villa to thank the President for visiting him in London where he sought medical treatment.

The former governor stated that the President’s visit to him in the UK shows he has empathy and cares for the well-being of the citizens

Tinubu said: “The visit was only to thank the president, first of all, for his visit to my residence in London after the surgery and wishing me well, lifting my spirit and indeed what an exceptional leader will do to collaborate.
