Teni Opens Up on Health Scare, Claims She Is Uniquely Talented

Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has revealed the health challenge she faced recently and how it affected her daily life. The ‘Uyo Meyo’ crooner also bragged about her musical talent and style, claiming that she is different from other Nigerian singers.

In a video posted on her Instagram story, Teni showed the various medications she had been taking since last week. She said that she had trouble opening her mouth and speaking fluently on the phone. She also said that she could not eat and had to stay indoors and rest.

Teni joked that she sometimes felt like she was pregnant and wondered who the father was. She thanked God for her recovery and said that her life was like hell.

Meanwhile, Teni has asserted that she is the only Nigerian artiste with a unique sound. She made this statement during an Instagram live session with fans on Tuesday. She said that all her colleagues sound the same and that they know she is distinct but pretend not to.

Teni added that she is the only singer who can pick up a microphone and make an album on the spot. She said that she is confident in her musical abilities and does not need to copy anyone.

Teni is known for her hit songs such as ‘Case’, ‘Billionaire’, ‘Power Rangers’, and ‘For You’. She released her debut album ‘Wondaland’ in March 2021.
