BREAKING: Niger State secures release of abducted passengers

The Niger State Government has said that it has secured the release of all the passengers abducted from the Niger State Transit Authority bus.

This was confirmed on Twitter by the Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello,

“The Niger State Government has succeeded in securing the release of all Abducted #RescueNSTAPassengers. Details shortly,” he tweeted.

Newsflash had reported how the gunmen ambushed the commuters who were returning from a wedding in Rijau Local Government Area of the state.

21 passengers were abducted by bandits on their way from Kontagora to Minna last Sunday.
