VIDEO: Soldiers drag Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu out from his car for wearing Biafra attire

Nigerian Soldiers have reportedly dragged a popular Nollywood Actor, Chiwetalu Agu out of his car for putting on an outfit with the colours of the Biafran Flag.

It was gathered that the incident occurred in the Upper Iweka area of Anambra state.

Agu’s vehicle was allegedly stopped by soldiers who wasted no time to bring him out of his bus.

In footage seen by Newsflash Nigeria, Agu was allegedly dragged and manhandled by the Soldiers.

It was gathered that the actor was in Onitsha on a charity mission where he regularly gifts the less privileged with food items when he was arrested by soldiers.

“He was sharing food with some less privileged persons at Upper Iweka when the soldiers approached him and arrested him. He was manhandled and arrested and taken to their barracks,” a source said.

Agu, who is a supporter of the Biafra cause, had, in several videos, criticised the regime of the President Muhammadu Buhari for marginalising Igbo.

It can be recalled that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has banned the display of the Biafran Flag in any part of the country.

Last Month, Agu went viral on social media after wearing an outfit made of the Biafran Flag with many Nigerians stating on social media that ‘nothing must happen to the popular thespian.
