Suspected ritualists behead 94-year-old woman in Ekiti
Unknown gunmen suspected to be ritualists have beheaded a 94-year-old woman identified as Mrs Ayodele Ashaolu, in Ikun Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Newsflash Nigeria gathered that the corpse of a woman had been found in her house but without the head.
It was learnt that the woman was living alone in the house where the incident happened.
Some members of the community suspected that the woman must have been killed by some ritualists.
Meanwhile, the Ekiti Police Command confirmed the incident.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Sunday Abutu, said men of the command have swung into action to investigate the incident.
Abutu confirmed that the case was reported by one of the children of the deceased who was contacted by neighbours after the corpse was found.
