Security only exists in Heaven, FCT is now safe – Keyamo defends Buhari

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, on Friday, said it is only in heaven that there will be no security breach.

Keyamo while defending President Muhammadu Buhari on his effort on security said we are still on earth so there must be a security breach.

He further stated that there are jailbreaks in America, but that does not mean the government has failed.

Speaking on the recent attacks in Abuja, the minister said the criminals in buses have been killed, adding that the Federal Capital Territory is now safe.

He called on Nigerians not to be scared of bandits, claiming that when you don’t show fear they will go away.

Keyamo while speaking on Channels TV said, “It is only in heaven that there will be no security breach at all and we have not arrived in heaven and are still on earth so there must be a security breach.

“There are jailbreaks in America but that doesn’t mean the government has failed.

“We didn’t promise that insecurity will not happen, we promised response; last week, we killed those in the bushes in Abuja. Abuja is safe now, there’s no incident around the bushes of Abuja now.

“We promised a response and we’ve delivered well. People should not engage in scaremongering, the bandits just want to scare Nigerians, that’s their oxygen, they want to create panic

“When you don’t give them that fear or panic, they go away.”
