Pastors Who Own Jets, Have N1bn in Bank Account Will Not Make Heaven– Nigerian Prophet

A Nigerian prophet has stirred up a heated debate among Christians with his bold claim that pastors who own private jets or have huge amounts of money in their bank accounts will not enter heaven. The prophet also declared that pastors who own universities or estates or ordain their wives as ministers are also doomed to hell.

Prophet Amos Child Of God is the founder and leader of Jesus Christ Temple Ministry, a church based in Warri, Delta State claim that pastors who own private jets or have up to N500 million to N1 billion in their bank accounts will not enter heaven..

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the prophet can be seen preaching to his congregation with passion and conviction.

He said that many pastors today are living in luxury and extravagance, while neglecting the poor and the needy. He said that such pastors are not following the example of Jesus Christ and the apostles, who lived simple and humble lives.

He said, “Any pastor who buys a jet, if he sees heaven, I will remove my shoes. Any pastor who has an estate and a university, if he sees heaven, if the door of heaven opens [for him], that means it will also open for Sodom and Gomorrah.

“Any prophet who has N1 billion, N500 million in his account, it means he is the first person to receive the gospel. Any pastor who ordains his wife, if he sees heaven, it means he is the first pastor who married.”

He challenged his listeners to show him any evidence from the bible that the apostles were rich or had wives who were ministers.

He said that all the apostles were married, but their wives’ names were not mentioned in the bible because they were not involved in ministry. He said that pastors who ordain their wives are violating the biblical order of leadership and submission.

He urged his congregation to beware of false prophets and teachers who are deceiving many people with their prosperity gospel and worldly lifestyle.

He said that such pastors are not serving God but mammon, and they will face God’s judgment on the last day.

Prophet Amos said that true pastors are those who preach the truth, live in holiness, and care for the flock of God. He said that only those who do the will of God will inherit the kingdom of heaven.
