Ondo State Governor Akeredolu Still on Medical Vacation, Debunks Viral Video of His Arrival

The Ondo State Government has debunked a viral video on social media that claimed Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, has returned from his medical trip in Germany.

The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, confirmed that Akeredolu is still in Germany, where he is receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

Olatunde said a recent video circulating on social media showing the arrival of Governor Akeredolu was recorded during the Governor’s campaign for the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections.

He is grateful for the prayers and support of the people of Ondo State, as well as his friends and well-wishers across the country and beyond. He believes that their love and compassion have helped him in his healing process.

Governor Akeredolu is eager to come back to the sunshine state and resume his duties as the chief executive. He is committed to fulfilling his REDEEMED agenda and delivering good governance to the people of Ondo State. He has a vision of a prosperous and progressive future for the state.
