Nigerians react to Aisha celebrates Zahra Buhari graduates with first-class degree

Nigerians have reacted to Aisha Buhari, the wife of the President who posted the wife of his son, Zahra Buhari, who graduated with a first-class degree in Architectural Science.

The wife of the President shared photos of Zahra Buhari, the wife of Yusuf Buhari on her Facebook page.

She captioned the photos, “Congratulations to Mrs. Zahra B Buhari on your graduation with First Class Honors in Architectural Science. Wishing you all the best!”

Meanwhile, the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has been on industrial strike for over seven months, following the inability of her husband to fulfil their demands.

See the reaction of Nigerians:

@Omoyele Sowore, “This is the reason their father Muhammadu Buhari shut down Nigerian public universities for 7 months now and still counting because his children don’t go to schools in Nigeria and as you could tell they’ve used your resources to give their children the best education money can buy. Nigerians!!! You see why you need a #Revolutionnnow?

@Patience Nnedinsọ Eze, “Congratulations to her but, you should not have shared this on social media… It is insensitive to the plight of many Nigerians who are at home and whose children are currently not in school because of the ASUU Strike.

@Frankline Madichie, “Your husband has achieved everything failure can offer, name them… The name Buhari will forever be remembered as the worst thing that happened to Nigeria. After destroying Nigerian universities with his leadership incompetence, you sent your children to foreign schools and posted their graduation on social media to mock other people’s children who as a result of ASUU have spent over seven months at home and still counting without lectures, on the day the airport was shut down by the youths for the same reasons. Where is ur conscience? Continue celebrating your daughter’s graduation abroad, nemesis will soon catch up with all of you.

@Rabiu Mubi “Congratulations Zahra. You have really done wonderfully. To graduate with even 2nd class is not an easy task, not to talk of the first class. You are indeed very hardworking and intelligent👌. May God bless your knowledge and the certificate. Pls, don’t forget to remain Baba to try and do something positive that can bring an end to the ongoing ASSU strike🙏”.

@Fadima Ibrahim, “Am thoroughly disappointed in you posting this, after knowing full well our students have been at home for months due to your husband’s incompetence and nonchalance.

@Ibraheem Abdullahi Soro, “Congratulations on your graduation from a foreign University. Thanks to your Dad for keeping us at home for over 7months. May he get what he deserved in his life. Allah yamasa Abinda Yamana😎”

@Lopez Iyke Okwu, “What is this? At this point when university students are wasting at home? This seems to me like a troll at the Nigerian students schooling in Nigeria. So as a Nigerian supporting these people, this picture didn’t touch you negatively abi? Keep supporting.

@Morgan Onumah “If this post was from an ordinary Nigerian son or daughter, I will others to celebrate her. It is unfortunate that the first lady is celebrating her daughter at the expense of thousands of Nigerian students at home for seven months running. God of the uncommon man will speak for his people.

@Isaac Oyewole, “I ought to be graduating this year from the department of Architecture but the ASUU strike and FG refusal to come in term have postponed it till next year. So much unfortunate, posting this is insensitive when there are countless students at home because of the strike. Our leaders are so much insensitive.

@Moses Ewa, “That is Nigeria political elites for you, their children are schooling while others are on the street. How do you expect them to give attention to ASUU, God would answer our secret prayer come 2023, all this nonsense would stop.

@Precious Master P Omocho, “This is actually an insult, to all Nigerian students who have been at home for months. Without any solution in sight. Funny thing is hundreds of these same students will still vote for APC come 2023. Congratulations to her jaree.

@Emecheta Nonso Bee, “So she had the effrontery to post the pictures amidst the ongoing nationwide protests by NANS over the lingering ASUU strike? Shameless people. It’s not their fault. That’s why they are not perturbed about the 7-month ASUU strike.
