Native Doctor Beats Home Help to Death for Eating Meat Without Permission

A native doctor, known as Nze Law, and his domestic workers have been accused of killing one of their home helps, Sunny, for allegedly eating a piece of meat that belonged to the native doctor.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening in Amankwo village, Alaenyi Ogwa in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State.

Newsflash Nigeria learned that the native doctor and his workers beat Sunny to death and buried his corpse in a nearby bush without informing his relatives. Sunny was from Amandugba community in Isu LGA, which is a neighbouring community to Ogwa.

A source told SaharaReporters that Sunny was caught eating a piece of roasted meat that the native doctor had kept for himself. The native doctor and his workers then subjected Sunny to a brutal beating until he died.

When the information got to his people in Amandugba, the youth of the community felt bad, mobilised themselves and stormed the home of the native doctor at Amankwo to avenge the death of one of them”, the source said.

However, the native doctor had already escaped from his home before the arrival of the angry youths. The youths were also prevented from destroying Nze Law’s mansion by the police, who arrived at the scene to restore order.

The spokesman for Imo State police command, Henry Okoye, said he had not received the details of the incident but promised to share the information as soon as it was available.
