PHOTOS: Ex-Gov Shettima, Rep member and Muiz Banire visit Bola Tinubu in London

A former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, and member of the House of Representatives, Usman Zanna have paid a visit to the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in London.

Mr Shettima, who is now a senator, was seen in photos with the former Lagos State governor.

Newsflash Nigeria understands that Zanna, a first-time lawmaker who represents Gubio, Kaga, Magumeri federal constituency of Borno State, paid a visit to Tinubu in London on Tuesday.

Earlier, former National Legal Adviser, APC, Dr Muiz Banire was in London to see Tinubu.

Banire was formerly APC National Legal Adviser and a Commissioner in Lagos cabinet thrice.

The Tinubu loyalist served as Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) Chairman under the present government.

The former Lagos State Governor is rumoured to have undergone a series of surgery on his knee.

There were claims that Tinubu allegedly underwent another knee surgery at the John Hopkins University Hospital in Maryland, the United States.

It was gathered that the former Lagos State Governor returned to the United Kingdom on crutches after undergoing the successful surgery.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had last week paid a ‘goodwill’ visit to the APC leader before returning to Nigeria.

Just like Buhari, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and another member of the House of Representatives, Hon. James Faleke had also visited the former Lagos State governor.
