The polls were concluded on Saturday evening.

Though the APC won in Gwagwalada, the PDP floored the APC to win the Kuje chairmanship election.

The INEC has declared Suleman Sabo of the PDP as the winner of the poll in Kuje Area Council.

This means that Sabo, the council’s current chairman will be in office for a second term after he defeated five candidates in each of the 10 wards in the area council.

He had a total of 13,301 votes to defeat his closest rival, Sarki Hamidu of the APC, who had 7,694 votes.

PDP also won Bwari Area Council, the chairmanship candidate of the PDP Shekwogaza John Gabaya, which has been declared the winner by INEC.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared Gabaya of the PDP winner of the Bwari Area Council Chairmanship Election.

The INEC’s Returning/Collation Officer for the Bwari Area Council elections, Prof. Amuche Madu, said Gabaya who is the incumbent chairman of the council, polled a total of 13, 045 votes and declared him a winner.
