Lai Mohammed made sacrifices to bring change in Nigeria – Buhari
Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, said the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has made sacrifices and contributions that went a long way in bringing change to the country.
The President disclosed this when he celebrated the Minister on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a statement on Tuesday through his spokesperson, Femi Adesina said going down memory lane, President Buhari recalled that the Minister had also distinguished himself as a lawyer and businessman before venturing into politics.
Lai Mohammed was commended as a devoted public servant who has raised formidable information machinery that has bridged the information gap in the country.
Buhari wished him good health, strength, and longer life.
According to the statement, “The President congratulates the minister on the milestone, heralded by many years of diligent service to the country, working as a lawyer and businessman, before getting into politics where he served as Chief of Staff in Lagos State, and National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
