JAMB reveals UTME dates and registration details for 2024

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the dates and registration details for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the entrance exam for admission into Nigerian universities.

According to a statement released on Wednesday by JAMB’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, the UTME registration will commence on January 15 and end on February 26, 2024. Candidates can purchase the UTME application document from any of the accredited centres across the country.

The statement also revealed that the mock UTME, which is optional and meant to prepare candidates for the main exam, will take place on March 7, 2024. The main UTME will be conducted from April 19 to 29, 2024, in various centres nationwide.

Candidates are expected to print their examination slips from April 10, 2024, and follow the instructions and guidelines issued by JAMB for the successful administration of the exam. They are also advised to visit JAMB’s website @www.jamb.gov.ng for any other information.

The statement added that the UTME dates and registration details were based on the recommendations from a two-day Information Technology and Management Retreat held between November 26 and 28, 2023, by JAMB.
