Half-Human, Half-Goat Kid Born in Kwara, Causes Commotion

A bizarre incident occurred in the Adigun-Oke community in the Ifelodun local government area of Kwara state, when a female goat (nanny) gave birth to a half-human, half-goat (kid) last Wednesday evening.

The strange creature attracted a lot of attention from the locals and visitors, who flocked to the house where the goat was delivered to see the shocking discovery.

The wife of the owner of the female goat, Aishat Umar, who spoke in Hausa, said that the female goat had two kids, one of which was a normal goat and the other was a hybrid with human features, except for the ears and the hands.

She said that the hybrid kid died shortly after it was born and was buried by her husband, Umar, when he came back from his farm. The female goat and the other kid were still alive and healthy.

One of the community leaders in Adigun-Oke village, Pa James Adeoye, said that people were amazed and curious about the hybrid kid, which had hair all over its body like a goat, but had a human face, without hair but with teeth like a human.

He said that the female goat had given birth to normal kids before and that no one had ever seen a human mating with a goat in the area that could explain such a phenomenon.

Mr Onaade, one of the residents of the area, said that the incident was surprising to everyone in the village and beyond, as people from neighbouring communities came to witness the incident. He said that some people who had never heard of or visited Adigun-Oke community before also came to verify if it was true that a goat could give birth to a human being.
