FULL LIST: WhatsApp stop working on 52 Android Phone devices from November 2021

Popular social media messaging app, WhatsApp will no longer work on about 52 phones as from November 1, 2021, due to compatibility issues.

The phones that will be affected include 52 android and iPhone devices owned by millions of users worldwide.

Newsflash Nigeria gathered that the inability of the application to function on these devices is because owners of the platform will cease to provide support for the operating system running on such old model devices.

However, WhatsApp developers have now proffered solutions to  send the message without an internet connection.

You can finally press the send button even if WhatsApp is offline. Then the message will be delivered once the connection is restored.

How can you do this?

  1. Activate airplane mode to turn off the connection (Check this out if you don’t know how to do it)
  2. Open WhatsApp
  3. Write your message and tap on “Send”
  4. Close WhatsApp
  5. Deactivate airplane mode
  6. The moment you refresh the connection the message is sent, but you haven’t been online – which means that no one can see you!
