Fayose endorses PDP secretary Funmi Ogun for House of Reps seat

Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, has declared support for the State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mrs Funmilayo Theresa Ogun for the House of Representatives Ekiti North Federal Constituency II seat.

Mrs Ogun, who is the Commissioner For Works and Transportation during the second term of the administration of Ayo Fayose.

Fayose made this declaration during a town hall meeting with PDP stakeholders in the Ilejemeje and Moba Local Government Areas of the state on Sunday.

The former governor said his endorsement of Mrs Funmilayo Theresa Ogun will however not prevent other members of the party from contesting the primary election.

He said “The endorsement is in the interest and Best Representation of PDP in Ekiti North Federal Constituency II and it will not shut the door against anyone.

He, therefore, encourages all the PDP Members in Moba LG to be more focused on their good work said PDP has come to reclaim Ekiti for good and victory is sure to come on June 18 by God’s grace.
