El-Rufai Vows to Continue Sacking Bad Workers, Demolishing Illegal Structures in Kaduna

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has declared his determination to continue sacking bad workers and demolishing illegal structures in the state until his last day in office.

The governor made this known on Saturday in Kaduna during a book launch, where he explained that his motive was to ensure that his successor would not have to deal with such issues but focus on developmental projects for the benefit of the people.

According to him, “Any bad thing we find, we will remove it so that the next governor does not need to do it again. Watch out till the eleventh hour when we shall quit office, we will continue to sack bad persons and remove bad things.”

Governor El-Rufai, who has been serving as the governor of Kaduna State since 20151, has been known for his controversial policies and actions, such as sacking thousands of teachers and civil servants, demolishing buildings belonging to political opponents, and imposing curfews and bans on religious activities.

The governor also received commendation from his counterpart in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who described him as a fearless and outspoken politician who spoke truth to power and said it as it was.
