Ebuka Laments Exclusion From BBNaija All Stars Edition

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the popular host of the Big Brother Naija reality show, has expressed his disappointment at not being selected as one of the housemates for the upcoming BBNaija All Stars edition.

The edition, which is slated to start on July 23, 2023, will feature former housemates from the previous seven seasons of the show.

The organizers of the show, Multichoice, announced at a media briefing on July 14 that the BBNaija All Stars edition will run for 70 days until October 1, and the winner will walk away with a whopping ₦‎120 million. They also revealed some of the show specifications and prizes to be won by the housemates.

Ebuka, who was one of the first BBNaija housemates in 2006 and finished in eighth place, took to his social media page to express his desire to be part of the show again. He said he wanted to have a chance to win the grand prize and questioned why he was not included in the list of housemates.

The celebrity wrote: “Why am I not part of this BBNaija All Stars edition? I want to win ₦‎120 million too. Multichoice, what is going on?”

Meanwhile, a leaked list of ex-BBNaija housemates who would be part of this year’s edition has allegedly surfaced online. According to Stella Dimokorkokus, a blogger and entertainment journalist, some of the reality TV stars expected on the show as housemates are Mercy Eke, Alex Unusual, and Cee C.

Stella wrote: “The 8th Edition of Big Brother Naija Reality Show will premiere on July 23, 2023, as an “All-Star” edition with some housemates from the 7 previous editions.; SDK sources confirm that Reality TV stars Mercy Eke, Alex Unusual, and possibly CeeC will be part of the show, which will see the winner leaving with N120 million plus other prizes.”
