BREAKING: Gunmen kill three police officers, two others in Anambra

Unknown gunmen have killed three police officers and two other persons in Abatete in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State.

It was gathered the incident occurred on Tuesday night and set three vehicles ablaze.

Source gathered that gunmen stormed Abatete town in two Highlander jeeps and one Sienna car.

They abducted one unidentified young man from Uke after several shots fired at him failed to penetrate.

He was dumped in the trunk of the vehicle and whisked away to an unknown destination, it was gathered.

The incident, according to the source, occurred at Eke-Agu area in the community.

Anambra Police spokesman, ikenga Tochukwu, said he has not received any information on the incident.
