BREAKING: Gunmen kill four persons in Ondo

Unknown gunmen operating on motorcycles suspected to be Armed Robbers have killed four persons, including tea sellers, a commercial driver and roadside traders.

According to the report, the incident occurred around the Sabo and Igba area of Ondo town.

The robbers who were on motorcycles attempted to rob residents and traders in the area.

The gunmen shot sporadically, killing three persons in Sabo and one person at Igba.

It was gathered a commercial driver that stopped to eat in the area was shot dead.

This came 72 hours after some terrorists attacked St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, killing about 40 people.

Several other church members were injured in the attack.

Ondo Police spokesman, SP Fumilayo Odunlami, said she would issue a statement after getting a proper brief.

But a police source in Ondo town confirmed the killings.

The police source said the gunmen were armed robbers who attempted to rob residents and traders in the area.
