Reno Omokri, a former Presidential media aide to Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that “everything President Muhammadu Buhari touches will suddenly disappear”.
The former presidential aide made this known while reacting to Anthony Joshua loses heavyweight titles with Ukrainian, Oleksandr Usyk at Tottenham, London.
Newsflash Nigeria had reported that British boxer, Anthony Joshua, on Saturday night lost his WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles following a defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in London.
The Nigerian-born boxer lost on all the judge’s scorecards — 117-112 116-112 115-113.
Joshua was defeated by Usyk who was in his face almost all through the rounds on Saturday.
Anthony Joshua also lost about £15million after being defeated by Oleksandr Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Saturday night.
According to a report by Totalsportal.com, Anthony Joshua had £10 million guaranteed plus a share of PPV sales.
However, the fighter lost £15 million potential earnings following his defeat.
The former champion, in a post via his Instagram account after his defeat, urged his fans and followers to remain positive despite his defeat.
He also expressed appreciation to his London fans.
“Keep positive even if the world’s crumbling in front of you! London, I love you and thank you each and every time!” Anthony Joshua wrote.
However, Omokri took to his social media account to express sadness over Anthony Joshua’s defeat.
Posting a picture where Anthony Joshua was seen taking a picture with President Muhammadu Buhari, Omokri wrote, “Everything Buhari touches suddenly disappears.”
Recall that the heavyweight Champion met President Muhammadu Buhari during his trip to London for the UK-Africa Investment Summit 2020.
