Wife Complains to Her Parents After Husband Gives Her N30,000 for Food Out of His N75,000 Salary

A married man has cried out for help after his wife accused him of being stingy and not taking good care of the family.

The man, who earns N75,000 monthly, said he gives his wife N30,000 to maintain the family. He also pays the school fees of his three children, which amounts to about N90,000 per term.

However, his wife is unhappy with his financial commitment and has reported him to her parents.

She told them that he was stingy and that he did not love them.

The man shared his plight with @jon_d_doe, who posted it on social media.

He wrote: “My wife picked up quarrel with me, and she told her parents that I’m stingy and that I don’t like taking care of them.”

The post generated mixed reactions from Nigerians, who shared their opinions on the matter.

Some sympathized with the man and advised him to find a way to increase his income or reduce his expenses.

Others blamed the wife for being ungrateful and unrealistic, saying she should also contribute to the family income.

Some also suggested that the couple should have a budget and a plan for their finances.
