VIDEO: Nigerian Varsity Management Flogging Male And Female Students Caught Holding Hands

A video is currently going viral on social media where by a man, who claims to be a senior lecturer at Afe-Babalola University,ABUAD, said that the school management has reached a decision to begin the flogging Male and Female students caught holding hands.

In the video, the man claimed the directive was given by the founder of the citadel of learning.

He said:

“We have received a directive from the founder. All those girls who are in the habit of coming around boys or holding hands with boys, when we find you doing what we call public display of affection, we will start flogging you henceforth.

‘Operation koboko’ that is what we have started today 30th October, 2019.

According to Twitter users, the announcement was made by a staff of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD).

The said man described holding hands as a public display of affection and also stated that the University has launched ‘Operation Koboko’ which will see culprits severely punished.
