VIDEO: Buhari booed in Sokoto as the people chant “Never Again”

Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Sokoto state for a condolence visit and was booed by passers-by

He was received by the state Governor Aminu Tambuwal, before proceeding to sign the condolence register at the residence of the former president, Shehu Shagari, who passed away a few days ago.

Buhari booed as the people chant “Bama yi” loosely translated as “Never Again”

The president has received widespread criticism, with many accusing him of hypocrisy.

Muhammadu Buhari led the military coup that widespread elected President “Shehu Shagari” on the 31st of December, 1983.
