Nigeria has a new president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who wasted no time in naming his key aides after being sworn in on Tuesday.
Among his first appointments were Victor Adekunle Adeleke as his State Chief of Protocol, Dele Alake as his Presidential Spokesman, and Olusegun Dada as his Special Adviser on Digital Media.
He also appointed two official photographers: Nosa Asemota for himself and Adelani Opeyemi for his vice president, Kashim Shettima.
The appointments were confirmed by Tolani Alli, the former official photographer of ex-vice president Yemi Osinbajo, who congratulated the new appointees on Twitter.
“Congratulations to @nosasemota, The Official Photographer to @officialABAT 001 and @opeadelani the Official Photographer to @KashimSM 002.
“I wish you both the very best, God’s guidance, protection, and favour in this new role!! Go kill it. God bless you both,” Tolani wrote.
Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), emerged as the president after winning the 2023 general elections. He is expected to unveil his cabinet soon.
