The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that the body of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has been dug up from his grave for autopsy.
The 27-year-old musician died mysteriously on September 12, 2023, after reportedly suffering from an infection.
His death has sparked a lot of speculation and controversy, with many fans and celebrities demanding to know the truth behind his demise. Some have even alleged foul play and murder in his case.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, announced on the X app on Thursday that the exhumation was completed and that the autopsy would commence soon.
He wrote: “Exhumation completed, autopsy to commence.”
The autopsy is expected to reveal the cause and manner of MohBad’s death and to clear any doubts or suspicions surrounding it.
MohBad was a rising star in the Nigerian music industry, known for his hit songs such as “Koma Jensun”, “Ponmo Sweet” and “Sorry”. He was signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Music label.
