Lagos lawmaker, Kazeem Alimi, dies 4 days to LG election

Lagos House of Assembly Member, Kazeem Alimi, representing Eti-Osa 1 Constituency is dead.

There hasn’t any official confirmation on the cause of the death of Alimi, who turned 50 July 3,2017.

The lawmaker died barely four days to the highly anticipated Lagos State local government elections scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 22, 2017.
Before his death, Alimi had worked at Lagos House of Assembly between 1992 and 2001, and later worked as head CPO at the Lagos
Internal Revenue Service as Head CPO between 2001 and 2010.

He returned to the Lagos Assembly in 2011 and worked for four years before he left 2015.

Thereafter, Alimi was elected into the Lagos House of Assembly as a member on August 8, 2015.
