Lady Collapses In Court After Being Sentenced To Death

A 36-year-old lady identified as Stella Gilbert, collapsed, on Tuesday, after Justice Raliat Adebiyi sentenced her to death for stabbing her neighbour, Stella Godwin, to death during a fracas in Ajegunle, Lagos.

She was found guilty on one count charge of murder brought against her by the Lagos State government.

Gilbert had stabbed Godwin, a mother-of-three, to death with a knife, during an argument on June 22, 2013
