How a Health Worker Escaped a 3-Year Nightmare with a Fraudulent Pastor in Ekiti

A 3-year-old marriage between a pastor and a health worker ended in a bitter divorce after the court exposed the pastor’s lies and violence.

The pastor, Oni Muyiwa, who worked for one of the new generation churches, was accused of domestic abuse and threats to life by his wife, Madam Alabi Adejoke.

He was also revealed to be a serial divorcee who preyed on women’s wealth and property.

The Ado-Ekiti Customary Court granted Madam Adejoke’s request for the dissolution of the marriage and ordered Muyiwa to leave her house and return all her belongings.

The court also awarded Madam Adejoke the custody of their only child, a Toyota Camry car, a 3-bedroom flat, and two plots of land.

The court president, Mr. J.O Oyedele, said that Muyiwa’s testimonies were full of lies and contradictions.

He said that Muyiwa denied knowing the woman who gave birth to his first son, Oni Samuel Okikiola, and his first wife, Modupe.

He also said that Muyiwa could not prove that he contributed to the education and welfare of the child or that he acquired the car while cohabiting with Madam Adejoke.

The court president said that Muyiwa was a dishonest and violent man who did not deserve to be married to Madam Adejoke.

He advised Madam Adejoke to move on with her life and enjoy her freedom from Muyiwa’s oppression.
