EPL table: Man City maintain 16-point lead ahead of Manchester United clash

Manchester City is one game away from being crowned Premier League champions, following their 3-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola’s men romped into a two-goal lead within 12 minutes, thanks to Leroy Sane’s volley and Gabriel Jesus’ header.

Raheem Sterling ensured City went into the break three goals up, finishing off a superb counter-attack.

The visitors took their foot off the gas in the second half, allowing Yannick Bolasie pull one back, but were never really in danger of dropping points.

It sets up an epic Derby clash with Manchester United next week at the Etihad.

United beat Swansea City 2-0 earlier in the day, to keep the gap between them and their rivals to 16 points.
