Ekiti 2022: Who is Fayose Political Assembly aspires for Governorship Race

Ahead of the 2022 governorship election in Ekiti State, Ayomide Eniola, a member of the Fayose political family and the Peoples Democratic Party analysis has revealed some former governor Ayodele Fayose’s allies who aspire for the governorship race in Ekiti.

The race to the 2022 has begun both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) and lots of plots is ongoing.

Eniola revealed that, in a political family, former Governor Fayose is no doubt blessed with a lot of hands to pick from, anoint and present to represent in the 2022 Governorship election.

He said “As one of the kin followers of the Osoko political kingdom, I know that the permutation has also started within the Political Assembly. I know so many Osoko political children have shown interest for the coveted ticket.

“Permit me as a partisan observer, who believes truly in the political judgment of our leader to x-ray the qualities of some of the people jostling for the governorship ticket in Oshoko Political Assembly.

“I will try as much as possible to eliminate all traits of political biasness and remove every form of sentiment from my analysis in presenting the aspirants within the Osoko Political Dynasty”.

1. Prof Kolapo Olusola

“In 2017, during the buildup to the 2018 Governorship election, former Gov Fayose openly said that God had instructed him to make Kolapo Olusola Eleka his successor, that out of all the people that were following him back then, he was the only one with golden heart, who will not betray him.

Thereafter, he nicknamed him ‘Aremo Osokomole’ and anointed him as his successor. Ever since Fayose had graciously gifted us this precious gift-of-man, he’s never for a day disappointed us.

This ‘ total-loyalty personified’, Professor of Building Technology is truly a man after God’s heart. He’s loving, caring, humble, simple, cool, calm, accessible, approachable, attentive, intelligent, and brilliant.

Though Ekiti people till date are still talking about Segun Oni’s sterling qualities, but I make bold to say that Prof Kolapo Olusola is an advanced version, an hybrid of Segun Oni. There is no good quality of Segun Oni that Kolapo does not possess its double portion.

Prof Olusola while in office used substantial part of his RG’s to cater for the less privileged. Instead of building mansions, he was busy building lives.

Till date, Kolapo Olusola Eleka is well loved across the four cardinal points of the state. He’s no doubt man of the people, a worthy HEIR of Osoko Political Dynasty.

Prof Kolapo has the support of Ekiti people, but will he have the support of our leader? Only time will tell!”

2. Hon Kayode Oso

“This former Chief of Staff and former commissioner for works is another tested and trusted ally of our revered leader. Hon Oso is a compendium and definition of *absolute loyalty.*

In 2006, when Dr Fayose was illegally removed and subsequently faced with tribulations, Hon Kayode Oso was with him.

“One good turn deserves another,” they say. Kayode Oso no doubt enjoys the support of his long time friend, brother and boss. He has been tested on some many grounds and *superbly passed the test of loyalty.*

Kayode Oso has the support of the former Governor, but does he have the support of Ado people in particular and Ekiti people in general?”

3. Dr Samuel Omotoso

“Another worthy son of Osoko Political Family and one of the strongest defenders of dynasty. This Honorable Doctor has no doubt paid his dues. Strong minded, bold brilliant, highly intelligent, articulate, versatile, dependable and trustworthy.

A no nonsense man, this medical doctor possesses the sure antidotes to cure the APC madness in Ekiti.* But will Ekiti prefer going to Oye Local Government consecutively again?”

4. Hon Deji Ogunsakin

“This flawless banker is another reliable son of the dynasty. He was the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party in 2018, and since then, *has been the one shouldering the responsibility of PDP in Ado Ekiti.* presently he controls the structure of PDP in the state capital. He has a block ‘followership’ that adore him.

He’s youthfully energetic, polished and elegantly handsome. This former Mayor of Ado Ekiti is brilliant and full of resplendent ideas..

This young and vibrant politician might have the support of Ado Local government, but does he have the support of Ekiti people aside his immediate locality?”

5. Hon Wale Aribisala

This brilliant chartered account with enormous potential is another political son of the dynasty. Aribisala is the present National Treasurer of the Party. He is one of the eyes and ears of our Political leader in Abuja.

Aribisala is one of the strongest leaders of the Party in Ikole Local Government and one of the leaders of the party in the north senatorial district, the former member of the House of Representatives is well loved by his people.

As it is in Ikole Local Government, there are *some powerful gladiators* like *Hon Kehinde Agboola, Aremo Tunde Ogunleye, Monisola Eleja,* etc he needs to mend fence with ASAP before it’s too late”.

6. Hon Segun Adekola (MHR)

“Another tested and trusted member of Osoko Political clan. He’s one of the aspirants from the most marginalized senatorial district of the state, (South). While in office as member, representing Ekiti South Federal constituency 1, he appointed personal assistants in each wards of the constituency using privileges of his office to develop his people.

Hon Adekola embarked on massive and aggressive empowerment projects that till date, people are still enjoying his benevolence. But is he known outside his Federal constituency?”

Let me limit myself to these names for now, knowing fully well that there are other aspirants in other groups i.e Irewolede and Repositioning Groups jostling for the sole party’s ticket.

We will keep praying for our leader, Osokomole of the universe, the OPA and all the delegates in making right decision for and on behalf of the PDP larger family in Ekiti.
