Bloodshed In Ekiti As Fayemi Invaded Ekiti, MOB Shot

Despite that there was heavy security beef up on Friday in Ekiti State as the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, for July 14th governorship election, Dr Kayode Fayemi arrived Ado-Ekiti, the state capital via the route of Akure road.

Fayemi who arrived at Ado- Ekiti at about 5:15 pm led by the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

Newsflash247 correspondents who went round the town as at reported that, Police patrol vehicle was a station in some strategetic places but there is a crisis in the midway when one of the Armed Mobile Policemen that accompanied with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State hit one of APC, contesters Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) at Party Secretariat in Ajilosun, Ado-Ekiti which sustained injury.

One of the members of APC is feared dead while Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele has been rushed to an undisclosed hospital.

The cause of the incident was not ascertained at a time filling this report.
