APC NEC Meeting: Oshiomhole Recognises Ahmed Lawal As Senate President
The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole has recognised the Senate majority leader, Ahmed Lawan as Senate President when he takes the protocols at the APC NEC meeting on Thursday.
He stated that Senator Ahmed Lawan will act as the Senate President.
Senate President Bukola Saraki who defected from the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, some weeks ago.
He stated this while observing protocols, saying, “Senate President, well in the absence of the Senate President, the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawal can stand in.”
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and his Deputy, Yusuf Lasun, were absent at the 6th National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
