BREAKING: Kano Deputy Governor Dumps APC, Join PDP

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Professor Hafiz Abubakar has dumped the All Progressive Congress (APC), for the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Abubakar has been in a running battle with state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, with the deputy governor recently alleging threat to his life and plans to impeach him by the state government.
In a petition addressed to Kano State police Commissioner, Mr Rabi’u Yusuf, Abubakar urged the state police command to strengthen security around him
But reacting, the Kano state Commissioner for Information, Youth and Culture, Malam Mohammed Garba, the government described Professor Abubakar’s criticism, as not only unwarranted but unfair to the State Government.
Following the allegation, the State Government advised the embattled Deputy Governor to make a choice to quit or remain in Government.
