The All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman and other members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has advised Gov Okorocha to look at his choices, staying with the party or leaving if he is not happy with NWC’s decision to dump his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu.
The out-going Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha according to Hope For Nigeria, vowed that his son-in-law, Mr. Nwosu must succeed him as Imo governor and supervised a parallel Party Primaries.
His primaries saw Mr. Nwosu as the governorship Candidate, Okorocha himself as the Senatorial candidate, His Wife, his second son-in-law and 4 Cousins going to House of Representative and state House of Assembly.
As it stands now, even if APC NWC gives Okorocha the ticket, the actual winner from the Hope Uzodinma’s faction will get the ticket back through the court as that was the legally recognized party primaries.
Okorocha and his family are warming up to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP) today or he will swallow his pride and stay will APC and allow his folks to move to SDP before INEC’s deadline tomorrow.
