The National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, revealed the reason he visited President Muhammadu Buhari in presidential Villa.
Tinubu, who met with Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Sunday, described the President as an “exceptional leader”.
Speaking with State House correspondents, Tinubu said he came to the Villa to thank the President for visiting him in London where he sought medical treatment.
The former governor stated that the President’s visit to him in the UK shows he has empathy and cares for the well-being of the citizens
Tinubu said: “The visit was only to thank the president, first of all, for his visit to my residence in London after the surgery and wishing me well, lifting my spirit and indeed what an exceptional leader will do to collaborate.

“So that is what I came for and to welcome him back from the trip from Saudi.
“No politics involved, just a courtesy call to thank him in a big way, that’s all.”
Newsflash Nigeria recalls that President Buhari, had on Thursday, August 13, visited Tinubu, in London, during his recuperation from knee surgery.
Tinubu, who has been rumoured to nurse presidential ambition in 2023, was seen leaning on a walking stick as he posed for a shot with the President during the visit.
