Why I said negative things about Alaafin of Oyo – Runaway Queen Dami Opens Up

Queen Damilola, one of the youngest wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, on Sunday, tendered an apology to the monarch pleading to return ‘home’ after she fled the palace to Lagos some months ago.

Queen Damilola, who fled to Lagos, days after she was kicked out of the place has disclosed her friends misled her to say negative things about her husband, Alaafin of Oyo.

Newsflash Nigeria recalls that Queen Damiola publicly sought aid after alleging the king dumped her for her friend, kicking her out which required her to flee.

However, the Queen in a new Instagram post on Sunday, tendered an apology to the whole family of Adeyemi (Alaafin of Oyo) pleading to return ‘home’ after she fled the palace to Lagos some months ago.

According to Queen Damiola, everything she said about the king not taking good care of her was false, adding that her friends misled her to say all those things and she was sincerely sorry for trying to bring the royal family down.

She also said she had been to Lagos and Abuja to seek forgiveness and pleaded with all mothers to join her to beg her husband.

“I WANT TO USE THIS MEDIUM TO TENDER UNRESERVED APOLOGIES TO THE ENTIRE FAMILIES OF ADEYEMI ( ALAAFIN OF OYO) OVER MY LAST POST. PLS I WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW THAT I’M NOT UNDER DURESS IN SENDING THIS MESSAGE AND THAT I’M IN GOOD STATE OF MIND.

“THAT ALL THAT I SAID IN MY LAST POST ABOUT LEAVING THE PALACE AND THAT ALAAFIN WAS NOT TAKING CARE OF ME AND ALL WHAT I SAID NEGATIVELY CONCERNING HIM(ALAAFIN) WAS FALSE IT WAS FRIENDS THAT MISLEAD ME AND OUT OF FRUSTRATION.BUT NOW THINGS ARE CLEAR AND I’M SINCERELY SORRY FOR TRYING TO BRING DOWN THE ROYAL FAMILY.

“I HAVE BEEN TO LAGOS AND ABUJA TO SEEK FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF THE ROYAL FAMILY. I WRITE THIS IN TEARS AND BEG EVERY GOOD MOTHER TO PLS PLEAD TO MY HUSBAND( ALAAFIN OF OYO) ON MY BEHAVE TO FORGIVE ME. AND TO ALL THOSE THAT CONTRIBUTE ONE MONEY OF THE OTHER WHEN I GET BACK TO PALACE I WILL DEFINITELY REFUND YOU PEOPLE. THANKS
