Why Buhari visited me in London – Tinubu reveals
Bola Tinubu, the former Lagos State governor, has revealed the reasons why Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, visited him on Thursday in London, the United Kingdom.
Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that the visit of President Buhari to his house in London was a friendly visit and has proven that all is well between the two of them.
Newsflash Nigeria had reported that Buhari who was in London, on Thursday, visited Bola Tinubu who is also in London.
Tinubu, the APC chieftain, has been out of the country for over a month.
The presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, posted some photos on his Facebook page on Thursday and captioned it, “President Muhammadu Buhari this evening in London, the United Kingdom, visited Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
In the photos, Tinubu was seen leaning on a walking stick as he posed for a shot with the President.
Tinubu’s health has been a subject of controversy of late but in a press statement on July 31, 2021, his Media Adviser, Tunde Rahman, said though the former Lagos State Governor was out of Nigeria, he was not hospitalised as claimed by some reports (but not Newsflash Nigeria).

But Tinubu in a statement on Friday through his media office said the visit on Thursday cleared all “the erroneous commentaries peddled” by his critics.
According to the APC stalwart, the President’s visit is a sign of his considerate personality and humility as the leader of a great nation, Nigeria.
Tinubu while appreciating President Buhari for the gesture, also wished him the best as he continues to direct the affairs of the country.
