VIDEO: Security agencies trace Fulani kidnappers from Kwara to Ekiti
The combined security agencies have arrested five suspected kidnappers in Ikere Ekiti, Ikere local government Area of Ekiti State.
Newsflash Nigeria gathered that one of the suspected kidnappers identified as Musuru said he kidnapped many people in Kwara, Ekiti and environs.
He confessed that he kidnapped Alhaji Musa Mustapha, a cow businessman who lived in Ise-road, Okondo village, Ikere Ekiti and collected about N5 million Naira.
He also confessed that he kidnapped one Alhaji at ShaSha market, in Ikere Ekiti.
The Fulani man confessed that he kidnapped many people in Kwara State.
Newsflash Nigeria gathered the report that Alhaji Musa Mustapha was attempted to be kidnapped for the second time after being first kidnapped three months ago. He escaped from the kidnapper’s custody and called the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) in Ilorin, Kwara State to assist him.
The source gathered that after OPC in Kwara battled ground with kidnappers in the forest, he gun down one of the kidnappers. The Kwara OPC traced the other kidnappers to Ekiti State.
Newsflash Nigeria gathered that one of the kidnappers rented a house in the Odo Oja area, near Olukere palace, Ikere Ekiti.
According to the report when the OPC searched the kidnapper’s house, they recovered two AK47s and about 4 Million naira.
The OPC handled the kidnappers to Ekiti State Police Command for further interrogation.
