VIDEO: Market women in happy mood as Fayose visits Ikere, meets PDP chairman
The market women were in a happy mood on Saturday in Ikere Ekiti as the former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose visited the town.
Fayose has again shown some of the actions that endear him to the people of the state.
Fayose who landed in Ekiti for attending the wedding ceremony of the three term former local chairman’s daughter in Ilawe Ekiti in Ekiti South West local government of the state.
Newsflash Nigeria gathered that while Fayose was on his way to Ado Ekiti, he dropped at the Okekere Market in Ikere Ekiti.
Immediately when the women in the market sighted him, the market women trooped out of the market to welcome him.
According to a video of the recorded by a witness and obtained by Newsflash Nigeria, the market women in happy mood, they said “Osoko will miss you” and some are saying we are expecting you.

Fayose posted on his twitter handle, wrote “On my way to Ado Ekiti this morning, I stopped at Ikere Ekiti to say hello to the market women”.
Residents of the area also joined the women in the market to welcome Fayose, they said “You are loved Fayose, 80% of the infrastructural development in Ekiti was made by you”.
Fayose also visited one of the ward chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had visited him in Lagos on last Sunday, Mr Kayode Oguntuase, (Are/Araromi/Ayetoro Ward) at the chairman’s residence along Ise road in the town.
